If we truly want God, if we truly want to achieve the ultimate goal of life, we must explore what this journey called life is all about. We must understand what the ego is doing and how with the mind, it creates the illusion of ME that makes us crave till we reach our grave. We need to overcome the ignorance and realize we are not the body. When we proceed on the journey of life and realize we are not the mind, then the ego faces the question, ‘Who am I?’ If we are amongst those who don’t believe in the Divine, if we are non-believers and don’t believe in the existence of the God that created us and this beautiful earth, then we will just die only to be born again and again. However, if we believe in God, and we want to achieve our ultimate goal. Tavistock Institute. Part 103
All the practices are aimed at shedding of one ‘ s ego , which is the biggest hurdle in the realisation.
Accepting a person as one’s Guru enabled one to get over one’s ego, which was the biggest hurdle in the path of devotion.
It prevents us from living a life devoid of dishonesty and enmity and is a hurdle in spending a life surrendered in God . The ego is one ‘ s biggest enemy in one ‘ s effort to achieve spiritual blisss and is a cataract in one ‘ s flow in that direction.
To get out of the clutches of ego is an effort to reckon with. Difficult though it is to live an egoless life but impossible it is not. To give up one’s ego is the first step towards God-realisation. It is easier said than done. But once you are firm in your mind and tell yourself that “I” am not the Doer, “I” am a passing phenomenon, someone else is the Doer, He is the Timeless One, then will the earnest reckoning of an egoless life begin. And once it has begun you will be on course to God-realisation. Surrendering to God’s will becomes easier then and an inner feeling of calm-ness sets in. Don’t delay it. Start now.
Yog can make mind free of prejudices, ego, inflexibility, and misconceptions which are the biggest hurdles in the path of individual’s development and thus of the community and the nation. It removes all doubts and suspicions and assures the attainment of supreme bliss.
“Ego is the biggest enemy in one’s spiritual journey and physical journey.” To purify the ego, humility is the answer. Greatest humility is the fifth of the Ten Da natures bestowed by Tao Source.
Our biggest enemy is our own ego. When ego becomes mass consciounsess, then mass consciousness must become the unseen enemy for spiritual progress and enlightment.
The biggest enemy we humans face is the ego; only the greatest Warriors defeat this foe.
Our biggest enemy is the ego and along with the mind, it becomes the ME that not only suffers the pain of the body, the misery of the mind and agony of the ego, but continues to suffer birth after birth as it lives in ignorance, praying to a distant God far away.

However, if we believe in God, and we want to achieve our ultimate goal,
Who is, Where is, and What is God? then we will realize we are the Divine Soul. We will realize that we are a manifestation of the Divine and we will be liberated from all suffering forever.
• We pray to a God without truly knowing who God is, where God is, and what God is.
• Some of us realize that God exists, but we think he is
somewhere far away in the skies on a distant star.
• The ego separates us from God and makes us live in ignorance.
• The ego stops us from realizing that God is within.
• Along with the Mind, the Ego lives as ME and suffers without realizing God.
• God is not a statue or a saint. God is a Power.
• But the ego believes in the myth and doesn’t realize the truth.
We don’t know who God is, where God is, and what God is… It is the Ego that stops us from realizing this.
We don’t realize that life is a cosmic drama. We are just actors. We come and we go. Everything that happens is a show. Although we know we come without anything, and we will go without anything, we say, This is mine’ and That is mine.’ The ego makes us ignorant, just as it makes us suffer. We live and we die. The drama goes on Death is not the end. It is just one act finishing in the drama of life, with a new act to begin. In the first act, we had a different role, and in the next act, we will come back as another actor, to live and to die. We will be commanded by ME – the Mind and the Ego, and in every role in the life drama, we will seek happiness. Very few of us stop and contemplate. A small minority evolves beyond seeking pleasure to seeking purpose.
The ego makes us blind to the reality that life is just like a puppet show. In the end, all the puppets will be packed in a box. Along with the mind, the ME stops us from realizing our life’s purpose. It stops us from going on a quest to realize the truth.
Majority of us are living under pressure. There is a pressure from family, office and society. We act or react under pressure. From the morning when we get up till we sleep in the night there are different pressures acting on us. In office, there is a pressure of work. As we reach office and open our email box we will find many new tasks to be done and reminders along with customer complaints of pending work. Effective working hours are eight and a lot of jobs need to be finished in this time duration. Thus, there is a pressure of time along with pressure of work. These pressures affect the mental performance of an individual and we feel stressed out. Most organizations now-a-days prefer those employees who can work under pressure. To combat pressure we need inner strength and mental stability. This cannot be purchased or bought from any market or institution. It needs to be developed by training the mind.
